About Anna
I love teaching, and I've been teaching in schools for fourteen years and LAMDA and summer schools for much longer. Most recently I spent 2 years at Runnymede College in Madrid, where I had the opportunity to teach gifted and talented students, and that has given me the opportunity to understand how to teach at the top tier. I am also a drama teacher, and I am able to support learners that are less able and more practical and finding ways to improve confidence and find interest in what they are writing.

My lessons are structured around your needs, whether they are spelling, punctuation and grammar support; confidence building with reading and writing or more specific support for GCSE exams. I have a range of experience teaching English at KS3/4 as well as working for an English language school for EAL students. My lessons would be created around the specific needs of the learner, incorporating a range of tasks to improve confidence with reading and writing as well as eventually more challenging exercises to raise attainment.
