About Heather
I'm an academic tutor at a nonprofit, technical college, and an independent tutor who's been in the field for over 5 years. I've taught just over 40 students since 2016 in Academic and Business Writing, public speaking, and English. I mainly work with high school students and college student as well as business professionals in various industries. I have experience working with students as young as 5.

I'm a college graduate with an Associate Degree in Educational Consulting, certifications in Teaching English as a Second Langauge and Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorder. I tutor students in high school and college and help them become autonomous learners. I utilize task-based learning and research-based activities to help each student learn outside of school and tutoring.
