About Erin
I have been teaching and tutoring English, History and Social Studies for over eight years. I recieved my B.A. in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Washington in Seattle and my M.A. in Africana Studies from New York University. Teaching is my passion and sincerely enjoy participating in the learning process.

My approach to teaching is always to find a way to make the subject matter come alive for my students. I do this by tying history to the present, asking my students to share their perspectives and always encourage question asking.
