About Hugo
I’m a bilingual Spanish-English speaker, raised in Madrid by a Spanish mother and an English father. I attended a British school, which meant I was constantly moving between two languages and cultures. This experience has given me a unique insight into how Spanish and English complement each other — and how learning one through the lens of the other can be both intuitive and enjoyable. At university, I study History and Russian, which has further deepened my understanding of how languages work and how best to learn them. I bring this knowledge into my teaching, combining clear, structured lessons with real-world practice to help you build confidence and fluency. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to take your Spanish to the next level, I’ll tailor our sessions to your goals — always making them engaging, supportive, and enjoyable.
