About John
I have been playing the piano for 18 years and have taught for 3 of them, it has been an important part of my life. I have studied Music composition at Maynooth university and I have had great teachers, and have learned great piano teaching methods. Whether it is performance, production, composition or music theory I have plenty of experience in all fields. I have performed the piano live in different parts of Ireland, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York and Boston. I can teach you anything from performing Mozart to producing electronic music. In my opinion, the most important factor in learning how to play the piano effectively is having a personal approach. My approach is simple: I focus on helping students learn the correct techniques and strategies so that they can play the piano with confidence and skill. In addition to this, I also emphasize the importance of practicing regularly and listening to music.
