About Max
I recently graduated from Durham University, where I directed multiple plays and hosted a radio show. English and Drama are both real passions of mine; I love writing, watching and performing plays as well as reading a variety of literature. When I was younger, I hated maths with a passion, but at secondary school it all suddenly started to make sense and I started enjoying the problem solving aspect of it. Being able to teach students subjects that I really enjoy is really exciting to me, so I would be thrilled to get started!

I believe that private tutoring is all about giving students confidence in whichever subject they are studying- whether it is Maths, English or Drama. I tutored a student 1-1 over the course of a year in my gap year, helping him with his homework and making sure that he was engaged and interested in the subjects that he was studying. I'm keen to tutor at any age level up to A levels for English and Drama, and any student up to GCSE for Maths. I received 11 A*s at GCSE and A*AA at A level, and I'm excited to tutor others the learning and revision tools that they need to be confident!
