About Emily
I started my musical career at age 3, playing violin. At age 6, I started my first piano lessons and the rest is history. Music has always been a huge part of my life and if you are looking to start music lessons, I’m sure music has impacted you at some point in your life as well. Not only do I have a degree in music, I have clocked over 200 hours teaching over the past year between classes at Stetson or paid technician jobs working for four different high schools across central Florida.

I recently graduated in December of 2022 from Stetson University, obtaining a bachelors degree in Music with an outside field in Education. I have had 3.5 years of music education courses on how to specifically teach music, as well as two years of keyboarding classes to qualify me to teach piano. My primary instrument is percussion with a specialty in mallet percussion which is very similar to piano and keyboard music. I cannot wait to meet you and help you kick start your learning in music!
