I am an English Teaching Assistant in France, where I teach at the high school level. I graduated cum laude from the College of Charleston in December 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and French. Most of my coursework consisted of history, political science, and literature classes.

Crafting an argument is an essential skill, so I want to help students articulate themselves. I think the best way to analyze a source is to break it down, and answer the question, so what? I think taking notes and highlighting texts can be helpful to remind students of important information, but it is not helpful in actual learning. Summarizing a reading or lecture, and explaining why it is important is the best way to understand it.
