I am a recent graduate from the University of British Columbia, where I received a BSc. in Environmental Sciences with a focus on ecology and conservation. I have multiple years of experience working in research laboratories and will be starting my MSc. in ecology and evolution in the fall.

I often help others learn by showing examples and practice problems, and then allowing them to try to work through material themselves, asking for help when needed. I find that it is easiest to learn if you can identify where you usually get stuck in a problem or question! I like to teach using real world examples and flexible methods depending on the student.
