About Ian
I am a recent medical school graduate, interested in teaching during the 6 months before I begin my emergency medicine residency. I graduated in the top quartile of my class and have completed USMLE Step 1 and 2 certification exams.
I have previous experience teaching classes to 2nd year medical students at the University of Queensland, running small and large group tutorials in medical school (5-40 people), tutoring peers in college, preparing lesson plans, and developing resources such as flashcard decks and visual aids. I am currently published in several journals and have experience reading and evaluating research papers.
With this broad array of experience, I can tailor a learning plan based on what you need and how you learn best!
