I've mostly observed Gatha's creative writing in a musical context, and I've noticed that her natural talent as a singer has largely influenced her work in this space. She tends to think like a songwriter and not a conventional poet, which lends a subtle musicality to her work that is pretty rare among modern writers.

She's also a terrific judge of content. I've personally had every assignment I handed in during my English minor reviewed by her beforehand, and her suggestions have never failed to elicit a positive response from my professors. I owe a lot of the credit that I've received to her, but she still does try to keep improving by putting up content for review by her peers.

Apart from being a proficient writer, Gatha is a patient, humble, and empathising individual. As president of the music society at Hansraj College, she's got tremendous experience mentoring dozens of talented students into professional, award-winning musicians. That experience, coupled with her general compassion and understanding for learners, makes it a no-brainer for me to recommend her as a competent teacher to anyone looking to start creative writing.
