A recent graduate in BA (Hons) Journalism and English literature. The journalism side of my course has provided me with the experience of communicating with people of different ages and backgrounds, therefore I feel I have strong communication skills that I will bring forward as a tutor.
I am capable of teaching GCSE level English Literature, and A-level English Literature and Sociology to some extent since I did the two subjects myself at A-level. I may also be able to tutor in psychology as I did the subject at A-level too.
I can also teach GCSE level Religious Studies, and sociology.
Although I am a recent graduate from university, my practical experience through my course as well as having tutored children and adults in the family and neighbourhood of various ages will allow me to fulfill this position adequately.
By studying English literature at university, my writing skills and listening skills have demonstrated great improvement which will be useful when tutoring these written-based subjects.
In addition to this, due to my free time and this being a home-based position, I will be free for twenty or more hours a week to provide tutoring including evenings and weekends.
