About Sarah
Once a student inspired by a brilliant tutor, I understand the value and importance of a good teacher acting as a guiding light to academic success.
Despite my young age, my experience extends beyond multiple years of professional independent tutoring, which have given me the interpersonal skills to work well with all sorts of students. Additionally, I appeal to the community of younger students as I am a less intimidating or ‘authoritative’ figure than most other seasoned tutors.
My greatest concern in sessions is not only your academic success, but your self-confidence in knowing the material and being able to answer questions through understanding and not regurgitation.

I provide comprehensive tutoring for students aged 8-18 for courses such as IGCSE, A Level, IB+ in Sciences, Maths, English Literature/Language, PE, and Business, as well as teaching individuals of all ages English and Spanish as a foreign language (from beginner to intermediate). My experience extends beyond multiple years of independent tutoring whilst being a full time student and firsthand knowledge of what examiners are looking for as a recent graduate of my studies.
I strongly believe each individual has a different approach to learning, therefore each session will be personalised to fit your unique needs. I love to employ active learning tactics to engage students -keeping lessons interactive and encouraging discussion about topics is an important step to building the foundation for a holistic understanding of the subjects. I also always consider application of the knowledge to aspects of the real world, to help strengthen comprehension.
All students are given full access to personally made resources/notes or certified study guides for selected subjects.
