About Katie
As a creative person I am always finding imaginative ways to send a message. Through teaching I enjoy problem solving and watching students flourish and grow in ways they didn't know they could at whatever pace they require. I have teaching experience from ages 5-16 and enjoy the challenges that come with this.

I take on a personal and creative approach to teaching. My background ranges from Musical Theatre to Acting for screen to scriptwriting therefore I understand the flexible and various needs of each student and cater to this. I have achieved LAMDA Grade 8 Acting and LCM Grade 8 Musical Theatre and received distinction for both equipping me for tutoring in both from Grades 1-8. I am also trained in Estill Voice level 1&2 which gives me a deeper anatomical perspective on the workings behind making sound. As someone who was accepted into 4 drama schools for both musical theatre and acting, I am well versed in the demands of the audition process and can offer support through this process as well as in choices of material.

Katie is an passionate educator that has developed my acting skills immensely. She is encouraging whilst pushing me to meet my goals in acting and directing. I would recommend Katie to anyone who has a love for performing and a want to enhance their acting abilities.
Katie has directed me in a few shows whilst at University. She is a wonderful, kind and caring person and a great director/actor. Her passion, patience and knowledge is next to none. I have learned a lot with and from Katie whilst she was directing our show and during my time sharing the stage with her. I cannot recommend Katie enough to learn from.
