About Amritha
Hi! I'm a recent medical school graduate currently applying to residency programs and looking to tutor during my free time. I've been tutoring since college and have experience working with students from third grade to college level. In terms of teaching experience, I completed an Americorps service year teaching third-grade students in an underserved community. I have also tutored biology and chemistry in college as well as histology, anatomy, molecular biology, and microbiology in medical school. I find teaching incredibly rewarding and am dedicated to the success of those I tutor. I look forward to working with you!

I am comfortable with science subjects such as biology, and chemistry up to a medical school level. I tend to be flexible in the way that I teach and like to tailor my lessons to your individual learning style. I believe the best way to learn is through practice so I typically like to structure my lessons as such: a mini-lesson on a specific topic you are struggling with, followed by some practice questions to test your knowledge. I love motivating my students as they learn concepts and grow their confidence.
