About Lucy
Hi, I'm Lucy, and I've recently graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a First Class degree in Neuroscience. I have a strong foundation in both Biology and Maths and am passionate about sharing my knowledge with students. Having completed my GCSEs and A-levels within the past six years, I have a thorough understanding of the current curriculum and effective exam preparation strategies. I'm eager to help students achieve their academic goals through personalised and engaging online lessons.

I will start the lesson with a short quiz to gather how much information the student knows. I will then use the first half of the lesson to cover content and worked example questions. The second half of the class will be doing practice questions with the student and giving feedback. Will end the class with a task that will summarise what the student should have learnt in that lesson. The typical length can be anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on how long the student wants. Can tailor lessons for KS2/KS3/KS4 looking for help with maths and biology. My grades: -GCSE's= biology (9), chemistry (9), maths (9), and physics (9) - completed in 2018 -Alevels = maths (A*), further maths (A), biology (A), chemistry (A) - completed in 2020 -Degree= Neuroscience first class BSc from University of Edinburgh - completed in 2024
