About Ellenor
I have recently graduated from the University of Exeter with a 2:1 in BA Politics. I graduated from school with A/A* A Levels in History, Geography and Politics. I have helped two GCSE students to achieve A* grades in History and Geography, as well as one A Level student to achieve an A* in Politics. I have enrolled on the Teach First programme and hope to go on to become a teacher later in the year. At present however, I am looking to explore my passion for teaching by helping students to reach their potential, particularly during these uncertain times.

My approach to learning is extremely student-centred. I believe that by the time they reach GCSE or A Level, students are far more aware of how they absorb knowledge best. I am offering to listen to the student and tailor my approach accordingly. I believe that the most useful advice in the run up to exams revolves around exam technique and applying knowledge to suit specific questions. Therefore, I tend to use previous exam questions to illustrate how information is best applied, after ensuring that the student is confident with the content.
