Hi! My name is Jerusha and I am passionate about Intellectual Property Law, as well as English Literature because it provides a forum for analysing creative expression and resonating with different perspectives of life through writing alone. Outside of academia, I enjoy art, and do graphic design on a commissioned basis!

My experience at university has allowed me to trial various learning methods to ensure that I am able to comprehend a large volume of material and readings. I have particularly found the Cornell method and active recall useful as it allows you to challenge and prove understanding of the relevant material. This can be done by example of articulating a concept to a friend/family. Further, such methods have been reflected in my position as Commercial Awareness Director for the SOAS Law Society, whereby I have written digestible pieces on the newsletter to break down information for my fellow peers. As such, I am eager to help individuals learn in a way that suits their educational needs and learning styles. In turn, I believe a holistic mode of tutoring enables confidence within a student as they can find enjoyment within challenging subjects and absorb the content of the material :)
