About Miss Katie
I am keen to inspire and teach people of all ages and introduce them to the world of music. My main instruments are the recorder, baroque oboe and the piano and I have a deep understanding of music theory. Please do not hesitate to send me a message, even if you simply need advice or have any questions.
I studied for 6 years at the Royal college of music, specialising in historical performance, achieving 1st class Honours degree and distinction for Masters in performance.
I teach pupils most weekday evenings and am happy to teach adults in the day time if required. I also offer ensemble coaching in historical performance.
I can teach recorder/theory from my home or come to you for piano or any of the above depending on location.
