About Kendra
I have been a registered nurse since 2016, and began my career in Emergency Nursing in 2014. I have a vast array of knowledge, skills, and experience in Emergency and Rural Medicine. I have also devoted my adult life to learning as much as I could about diabetes management, and plan to become an educator if my love for Emergency Medicine ever fades.

The old culture of nursing eating their young is long over. We need to empower and educate when and where we can. I believe in compassion, grace, and understanding when a concept or skill are not understood or forgotten. I've always learnt best from those who helped me understand, not those who shamed me for not having the skills, knowledge, or know-how. This has always and will always be my approach to teaching.
