About Sally
At the age of 19 I started working at a group home for individuals with developmental disabilities - which sparked my interest in the nursing field. I then decided to become an LPN and worked in various nursing homes and rehab centers. II quickly learned the systems are not set up for success in where I did not want to work. I went back to school, to become an RN and worked in an acute care setting for several months on a med surg unit before deciding that I needed more home work balance- So here we are :) My mom was a high school/advanced chemistry and biology teacher for my childhood, and she was/is a good role model for me in my professional life.
