About Angela
While I was in nursing school, I held group and individual tutoring sessions to my fellow students. I graduated SECOND in my class.
Prior to becoming a nurse, I was a Medical Laboratory Tech for 6 years and worked all core areas of the medical laboratory, including phlebotomy. I graduated FIRST in my class.
While I was taking my health science courses prior to applying to nursing school, I was the class assistant to students in Microbiology and Anatomy/Physiology.
My 13 years experience as a nurse is as follows: Research Nurse at Baylor College of Medicine, Progressive Care Nurse in the hospital, Pediatric Private Duty, Case Management through Humana Insurance, OBGYN lead nurse (clinic setting), Substitute School Nurse, and Long Term Care Nurse. Currently, I am a Nursing Home Weekend Supervisor, Substitute School Nurse, and Substitute Teacher (K-12).

Who/What I tutor:
I typically tutor students with their specific assignments and provide additional education and clarification on material that the student may struggle with mastering.
I tutor students with nursing material, along with any health science coursework required to meet application eligibility.
I also tutor general, non-nursing students with health science coursework in middle/high school and college level.
