About Grace
Hi there! I am a student who has just finished college/sixth form after doing A Level Biology, Chemistry and Maths, with A*A*A predictions, going to the University of Bristol to study medicine this September. I am a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic tutor who can tutor any level up to A Level for maths, biology and chemistry. I will get to know you and how you learn best, making our lessons fun and enriching, making sure that you get the most out of them and preparing you for exams or understanding content. I will ensure that everything taught is relevant to your course specification and to your needs. I have little experience of tutoring professionally, however I have been tutored in the past and am aware of how to structure lessons and teach. I also tutored my younger brothers (early secondary school age) over lockdown so am confident in working with children and understanding their way of learning. I am a student mentor for year 12s at my college, guiding them through the UCAS application process and helping them with their revision. Student ambassador for my college. Tutored GCSE science at local secondary school from February 2020 but postponed March 2020 due to COVID-19. Volunteered on the wards at local hospital September 2019 - March 2020 - built great interpersonal skills and confidence during position. Many mentoring roles at school and college. Was Deputy Head Girl at secondary school.

I taught Grace A level chemistry where she excelled in all aspects of the subject. She was always punctual, inquisitive, excellent at problem solving, diligent and articulate.
