About Anya
I am a passionate piano tutor with over 6 years of experience teaching students from school, college, and working professional backgrounds. I enjoy helping students learn piano in a simple and effective way. My teaching approach focuses on clear communication, patience, and understanding each student’s goals.
I create personalised lesson plans that match their level and help them progress step by step. I focus on building strong basics like finger technique, rhythm, and note reading before moving to advanced skills. Along with piano, I also teach music theory, ear training, and rhythm practice to support overall musical development.
My strength is simplifying complex concepts and making learning stress-free. I guide students to build confidence, improve consistency, and develop effective practice habits. I aim to create a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable and motivated.

Creativity is a major focus of my approach. Students are encouraged to improvise, compose, and explore different musical styles, helping them develop artistic confidence and a unique musical voice. Flexibility ensures lessons are adapted to the student’s pace, skill level, and preferred learning style, creating a productive and enjoyable learning environment.
Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This holistic methodology develops technical skills, expressive ability, and musical understanding. My aim is to cultivate confident, creative, and lifelong musicians.
