I am reliable in my tutoring and offer a flexible service that will fit around the students needs. Upon initial assessment I work with the student to improve their weakest areas. I have extensive experience of working with a range of abilities, needs and ages from children through to adults. My style of tutoring concentrates on the students needs and allows them to be creative in their learning or personal development.
I have over 10 years of running my own business in performing arts and hold a community learning teaching qualification as well as a business based Masters and a BA Honors degree in Drama.
I have extensive experience of tutoring Elocution, Drama, English, Business Management, interview and presentation skills and performance and singing. I also hold experience in teaching English as a second language and offering conversational support to students. My experiences include working with adult learners as well as with primary and secondary students working to support their reading and writing skills and GCSE and A Level exams in both English and Drama. I also have extensive experience of working with undergraduates to support their academic writing and essay writing techniques, as well as proof reading essays.
With professional experience of working with Alternative Education, I also have extensive experience through my business with teaching individuals with Special Educational Needs, out of education and home educated students.
Over the years, I have seen individuals pass retakes and increase their overall grades following extra tuition that I have provided in my areas. I have experience of working towards the Education curriculum with a knowledge of key texts and exam bodies. Other experiences include writing and delivering performing modules for foundation learners working towards foundation studies qualifications.
I have extensive experience of delivering career coaching and mentoring, interview and presentation techniques, both face to face and online.
