Hello! I am Anika and I am currently a student myself finishing my Bachelor's. I have a strong passion for teaching and for maths. I have previous experience in tutoring friends, family friends, and my own sibling. As someone who has had experience in both being a student and being a teacher, I believe I will be able to understand and provide suitable service for my students from a personal level. I am an undergraduate computer science student who completed GCSEs and A-level mathematics, dedicated to helping students of all ages and abilities to excel in this subject. I provide personalized teaching that caters to each student's unique learning style and needs.
Weather it's for SATs or GCSEs, my tutoring approach focuses on building a strong foundation of fundamental math skills and then progressing from there. I believe that learning should be an enjoyable and interactive experience, so I use a variety of engaging teaching techniques, including visual aids, real-world examples, and interactive problem-solving activities. I prioritise creating a comfortable and supportive learning environment to ensure my students can achieve full potential. Each lesson usually last an hour.
As a math tutor, I understand the importance of clear communication and effective feedback. I provide regular progress updates to students and parents, keeping them informed about strengths, areas for improvement, and strategies for continued growth. I am patient, approachable, and committed to ensuring that every student feels supported and encouraged throughout their math journey. The very first lesson is free of charge, however ongoing lessons after that will be charged hourly.
