About Madison

I’m Madison I’m a Māori that was raised in a racist household and we were not allowed to speak any or talk about any Māori things so I’m here to help others to learn something new or even learn their language

About the lesson

People should learn **Māori** because it's a vital way to support the preservation and revival of **Te Reo Māori**, the indigenous language of Aotearoa New Zealand, and to honor the culture, identity, and history of the Māori people. By learning the language, you help keep it alive for future generations, build deeper connections with the land and its original people, and contribute to a more inclusive, bicultural society. It's more than just learning words — it's engaging with a worldview.
