I have been tutoring throughout high school and college, and worked at the biology resource center at my university. I have a bachelor of science degree in Biology and I completed my undergrad thesis in microbiology and cell biology disciplines. I give lessons to middle school and high school students looking for reinforcement of the principles taught in biology, AP bio, anatomy, zoology, animal physiology, microbiology, and cell biology. My lessons provide a thorough coverage of the concepts, as well as personalized lessons, to help guide students through their current and future classes. I love using stories, metaphors, and acronyms (and even some silly songs) to aid in the development of deeper understanding of the why, not just the what.
