About Gavin
I am a passionate Biology tutor with over 3 years of experience supporting students in their academic journey. I hold a BSc in Animal Biology, which has given me a strong understanding of core biological concepts. I enjoy working with high school students. I specialize in helping those preparing for IGCSE and A-Level Biology exams.
My expertise includes Cell Biology, Human Physiology, and Ecology. These are key topics in most exam syllabi. They often require both understanding and application. I make them easier to follow.
I use clear diagrams to explain processes step by step. Visual learning helps students remember better. I also include experimental analysis in my lessons. This prepares students for practical exam questions.
Past paper practice is an important part of my teaching. I guide students through questions carefully. This improves exam technique. Confidence builds over time.

My teaching style is relaxed and focused on practical understanding of Biology. I cover biotechnology, genetic engineering, immunology, and pharmaceutical applications. These topics show how biology is used today. Learning becomes relevant.
