Student-centered instruction, focused on setting and achieving individual learning goals. Practice reading, writing and speaking skills; improve pronunciation; set and achieve learning goals such as reading a book, and/or articles from a newspaper or magazine; engage in conversation with instructor on current topics and community based themes. Based on individual goals, improve writing sentences and grammar, review past/present/future tense forms and other basic grammar in the context of reading & advanced conversation. Experience tutoring advanced and intermediate level ESL learners in groups as well as in individual lessons.
