About Debra
I taught Reading Language Arts for 22 years in the Dallas ISD. I taught Middle School and I loved it. My students were both honor students and students who barely mastered reading. I experienced great success in helping students strengthen their reading skills.

I have my masters degree in teaching reading specializing in those who read below grade level. I have a provisional teaching certificate from the state of Texas, that is a life time certification. My approach to each student is individual. I use various diagnostic methods to find where each child is with their skills, and then I gradually bring them forward at a pace they can handle.
