I "bring to the teaching table": - Over 30 years of professional experience with Ontario Curriculum. - Currently, tutoring primary, elementary, middle and secondary students age 7 to 18 years. - Experience teaching a wide diversity of subjects in Language Arts and Humanities. - Special Ed. I am a retired High School English Teacher with a deep understanding of the foundational mechanics required for student success. Topics of H.S. instruction include: essay writing (analytical and persuasive), creative writing, literary analysis, Shakespeare, and Indigenous texts. Topics of M.S. instruction include: reading comprehension, grammar fundamentals, paragraphs, and vocabulary building.
