About JOHANN
I am a retired lawyer qualified in both law and business on post-graduate level with three degrees. I have some 40 years of experience in the legal, corporate, proofreading and academic world. My passion is to be a mentor and transfer my years of experience to others to see them bloom. So you do not need to be an aspiring lawyer - if you want to draw from my years of experience in drafting, editing and proofreading legal and other professional documentation with linguistic proficiency - to enhance your English language abilities to communicate effectively - not only in law or business - but to be competent and confident in any sphere of life when dealing with the English language - book an introductory session with me so we can assess your needs and get to know each other.

My teaching approach is very much about making the class relevant to the individual student. I prefer to spend time talking about what is happening in the student’s life, at school, at work, about hobbies, sports and social life. I do this, because I believe it is much easier to learn a language when you bring it close to the happenings in your own life rather than just rigid fixed rules and material. We can tailor classes to adapt to the needs of every student, because we all learn differently. Whatever your reason for wanting to learn English, in my class I want to share my many years of experience with you while you learn. So I hope to see you in my class very soon.
