Doris has been an Educator for over 25 years. She is by far one of the most dedicated, empathetic and creative Educators that came out of the NYCDOE. She is an Educator who was invested in her students in the classroom and beyond. As a result of that she continues to have communication and positive relationships with former students. Being Bilingual has been a great asset in helping students whose first language wasn't English. She was able to help them assimilate in the classroom by providing creative and challenging lessons which helped them feel comfortable and accepted.
