About Elizabeth
I received a Multimedia Journalism degree from Evangel University, and spent the first decade of my life in the news industry. I recently ended my career in Tampa, FL in order to start my own nonprofit, however I still have a passion for empowering young journalists and encouraging them to reach their full potential as I believe fair and balanced journalists are essential to our country.

While the ins and outs of journalism on paper is important, preparing future journalists for the real world that they are entering into is necessary so that they not only know what to expect, but to ensure they stand out in the midst of a competitive field. I have incorporated my real world experiences as a journalist into my lessons with the hopes of giving students insight they might not receive in the classroom.
