I am a retired professor/teacher of communication studies, sciences and disorders. I have 45 years experience in both public and higher education, in both NYC and NYS. I have a BS, MA and PHD in education. I have been published a number of times and present at local/national conferences. I have has high job satisfaction, love to teach and work with students.

I am a practitioner [specialist] and a pragmatist [realist] in my approach to education, both in Teaching and Learning. I am a firm believer of turning relevant theory into practice and to practice relevant information drawn from theory [evidence based] in a pragmatic approach. Viewing Teaching and Learning as a two-way street which involves dialoguing the teacher’s process of teaching with the
student’s process of learning. I believe Teaching/Learning is to be interesting and interactive, as all students learn visually, auditorily, kinesthetically, gustatorilly, olfactorilly and tactilly. Teaching/Learning is done best when utilizing all these sensory modes, with the senses of vision and audition predominating in my Teaching/Learning practice.
