About Bonnie
I taught psychology (clinical, counseling, supervision, group, personality, health) in Illinois and Texas: Recently retired from Texas A&M International. I taught thousands of undergraduates and hundreds of graduate students. I'm a collaborative, communicative and happy teacher. I also have a lot of experience working with clients in therapy, and have written a book about it. I love learning and believe the best way to keep learning a subject is to teach it to like-minded and open people.

I am a mother, and an older female psychologist (Ph.D. ) who had a clinical practice and taught diverse graduate students at a professional school in Chicago. In Texas I Directed the Counseling Masters Program at TAMIU, provided individual and group supervision to graduate students, and published with students and colleagues on personality and mentoring. I studied in Peru, S.A. as an undergraduate and still can speak, write and read Spanish, (though not as well as when I lived there). I am professional, but friendly, and able to self-disclose to students if appropriate and helpful to learning.

Details
If I have to travel more than 15 miles to the student I will charge $8. I will not charge for canceled lessons. However if a student cancels more than once and I question the student's motivation and seriousness, I retain the right to discontinue working with that person.
