About Sharon
I really enjoy when the light bulb goes on in my students’ heads. If they don’t understand something, I water it down into easy to follow steps until they get it. I also treat each student as an individual and I realize that everyone learns in a different way. I adapt my lessons for each individual student.

I am proud to have been an ESL teacher for 21 years before retiring. I enjoy giving one on one instruction. I like to differentiate instruction according to students because every learner is different. I also believe in scaffolding, in which I teach lessons in easy to follow steps for full student understanding. I teach all subjects to grades 1-8 and am very experienced in teaching English to foreign students.
