About Sandra
For many years, I owned and operated many Sylvan Learning Centers in Texas and California. In this phase of my experience, I learned the best ways to help students to not only catch up, but to have the confidence needed to perform well in school. When I retired, I taught theology and math at Reicher Catholic High School part-time for ten years. I also taught epidemiology at Baylor University part-time.
I have a BA in mathematics with a minor in English from Chapman University , a masters in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of Hawaii, a masters in theology from St. Mary's University, and a doctorate in Church State Studies from Baylor. I love studying and teaching. Although I am retired, I would like to help students part time.

I love helping students do their best whether it is in math, political science, theology, English, epidemiology or any number of subjects. I work best with high school and college students. Initially I test the knowledge level of the student and talk to their teacher if allowed by the student. I strive to help students understand concepts which makes progression easier going forward.
