About Holly Ann

I have taught for a very long time in several different settings. Students have amazed me with their courage and dedication. I have experienced non readers become proficient. One unforgettable student progressed from a low reading level to memorizing lines for a play! Miracles happen all the time.

About the lesson

I meet my students where they are without judgement.
For example, if a student expressed a need for a reading tutor, I may ask that student to read a short passage aloud to help me determine where to begin.
A student must feel comfortable with a tutor in order to succeed.
