About Marcos
I am Marcos Velasquez, a magnet student and along with reading and writing, I also love photography, leadership, puzzles, and to add more onto my philosophy so I can grow as a better person. I enjoy simple things such as watching anime and gaming, which I would not mind discussing as we are in our lesson.

I am CITI Certified, meaning I have a certification in the formation of APA-Based Research. Additionally, I have took two research classes along with Honors Literature classes thus far and have experience in creative writing as I free-write poetry and I use creative writing in my stories. Next year, I will be taking AP Language as well.
Lesson Plan:
I would normally start by knowing what type of reading or previous comprehension you have if it is Literature-Based. For writing, I would start similarly and see what kind of paper or approach you are taking when writing.
Typical Lesson Structure for Reading/Literature:
- Know Previous Comprehension
- Know what you are particularly struggling in and then apply diverse techniques
- Usage of Repitition
- Depending on Grade Level, there will be different challenges/quizzes to help retain comprehension.
Typical Writing/Essay-Building Lesson:
- Know the topic and want to achieve before the session is over
- Review Formatting if needed
- Edit/Peer Review the writing for simple errors
- Along with the person, we think of ideas where to go from they last left off (Creative Writing)
- Along with the person, we think of effective methods to help add to our writing
