About Alfie
I work as a Director and DOP across a range of mediums including narrative, documentary, music videos and promotional content.
In 2026 I won the 'Craft Award for Camera' from the Royal Television Society West of England Awards for my work on the short narrative 'Puddle Man' starring Noel Fielding.
I have since gone on to direct the likes of Kevin McNally for a range of wildlife documentaries including blue chip and undercover exposés.
Examples of these include the upcoming BBC One feature documentary 'Bearwalker' from Oak Island Films. As well as the expedition documentary 'Sulphur Kingdom' from WildReach Productions where I joined the first television crew in history to film the largest spiderweb in the world - 111,000 spiders found in a sulphur cave on the Albanian border!

All ages welcome, I'm happy to help with any issues you may have! Whether you need help with your GCSE Film Studies, want to get into filmmaking without any experience or are just struggling to improve your camera skills.
I have over 6 years experience working on award-winning films, teaching storyboarding, camera operation and CV writing workshops to students at the Bristol University Wildlife Filmmaking Society.
