About Grace
My name is Grace, and I am a dedicated and professional tutor with a strong academic background in Politics, English Literature and Geography-related skills such as research, analysis and essay writing. I am currently studying BA Politics and American Studies at the University of Nottingham, where I continue to develop my knowledge of global politics, public policy and research methods.
I achieved strong A-Level results, including an A in Government and Politics and an A in English Literature. I also have tutoring experience in Maths and English, where I supported students through personalised one-to-one lessons and created resources suited to their learning styles. My aim is to help students feel more confident, organised and prepared for their studies and exams.
I am patient, friendly and reliable, and I take pride in creating lessons that are clear, engaging and encouraging for every student.

My lessons are supportive, engaging and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I teach Politics, Geography, English Language and English Literature by breaking down complex topics into clear, manageable steps. I focus on building confidence, improving subject knowledge and developing strong essay-writing and exam techniques.
A typical lesson lasts around one hour, although this can be adjusted depending on the student’s needs. During lessons, I use discussion, practice questions, exam-style tasks, feedback and revision strategies to help students understand the content and apply it effectively.
My lessons are suitable for secondary school students, GCSE students and A-Level students who want extra support, exam preparation or help improving their grades. I aim to create a friendly learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace.
