I have a BA in Russian and in Linguistics, and an MA in Slavic Languages and Literatures. I have three years experience teaching Beginner and Intermediate Russian at the university level, and have studied the language for over ten years.

My preferred teaching method is the communicative method, which mimics the language experience you would receive in a total immersion setting. While vocabulary words and grammar are the building blocks of language acquisition, language use in context is what cements it in our minds.
