About Laura
I’m a SAG-AFTRA actor with professional experience in film and television and a lifelong background in acting and performance. I’ve trained in both New York and Los Angeles, including Meisner-based training, and I continue to train and work on my own craft because I believe good actors never stop learning.
As a coach, I bring both professional industry experience and an understanding of what it feels like to be on the actor’s side of the audition. I know that every actor learns differently, so I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. My goal is to create a professional, encouraging environment where actors can take risks, make discoveries, and develop confidence in their own instincts.
I work with actors on the craft itself as well as the practical skills needed for today’s industry, including auditions, self-tapes, on-camera work, script analysis and preparation. Whether you’re just beginning or looking to strengthen skills you already have, I’ll meet you where you are and help you continue developing as an actor.

My acting lessons are personalized to each actor’s experience, goals, and individual needs. Whether you’re new to acting, returning to the craft, or preparing for a specific audition, we’ll work on creating grounded, believable performances while building confidence and strengthening your choices as an actor.
Lessons may include scene study, script analysis, character development, audition preparation, self-tape coaching, cold reading, and on-camera technique. I also help actors learn how to approach sides, make specific choices, take direction, and remain present rather than simply memorizing and delivering lines.
My approach is supportive but practical. I want you to understand why something works, not just tell you how to perform it. We’ll identify your strengths, work through areas that need development, and give you tools you can continue using outside of our lessons.
Actors of different experience levels are welcome, and lessons are tailored to where you are in your training and where you want to go next.

Details
Lessons are personalized to each student and may include scene study, audition and self-tape preparation, script analysis, character development, cold reading, and on-camera technique. Students preparing for an audition are encouraged to provide their sides or material in advance when possible. The complimentary introductory session offered through Superprof is a 30-minute coaching session designed to assess your goals, work briefly on material, and determine areas for continued development. Regular lessons are billed at the listed hourly rate. Additional preparation or services outside of the scheduled lesson may be quoted separately when applicable.
