About Austyn
I am a 29 year old freelance tutor with experience in many aspects of ELA (English Language Arts) tutoring. I have taught intensive SAT/ACT Courses for groups and solo students. I have filmed extensive video solutions to dozens of SAT and ACT tests as well as created curriculum for instruction of crash courses.
I also tutor any ELA related coursework including college essay guidance, college composition writing for Comp1 & Comp2, editing documents for grammar and brevity, and helping revise essays from middle school- college.

As a lover of the English language, I take pleasure in showing students the power of the written word. Whether it’s an essay about your favorite family trip, or a dense research paper, I treat all written material with care and pride.
I have a relaxed attitude towards tutoring: my rigorous training does not hinder my ability to connect with students and guide them to refining their own ideas. I will never overpower a student’s own creativity or individuality, rather help them expand on it and cultivate it until it has reached the best form.
