About Harveen
I have been a primary school teacher for the past five years, gaining extensive experience across different year groups. During this time, I spent one year teaching Year 6, which provided me with direct experience of the curriculum and a solid understanding of the demands of the Year 6 SATs. This experience has equipped me with practical knowledge of SATs-style questions, assessment expectations, and effective strategies to support pupils in building confidence, developing their skills, and achieving success in their end-of-year assessments.

My English revision sessions will focus on developing pupils' confidence and proficiency in the key skills assessed in the Year 6 SATs. Each session will include a combination of SPaG (Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar) activities, reading comprehension tasks, and opportunities to develop reading skills such as retrieval, inference, prediction, and explanation. Pupils will regularly practise SATs-style questions to familiarise themselves with the format and expectations of the assessments, while targeted teaching will address common misconceptions and areas for improvement. The sessions will be engaging, structured, and designed to strengthen both subject knowledge and exam technique, enabling pupils to approach their SATs with confidence.
