Hi! I'm Ms. Kayla!
As a teacher with over a decade of experience, I have learned many ways to teach Elementary school math, literacy, and science! I love using visuals and real-life examples to make learning fun and easy to understand. I love to teach using a gradual-release method, which follows the format of "I do, We do, You do". This method starts with a clear model of the expected task, where the student observes and asks questions. Next, the task is completed together, and all questions are answered before the student attempts a similar task independently. This cycle builds confidence, and with repetition, learning comes quickly!
