About Rose
Teaching flute is more than a profession for me—it is a passion that has shaped my life over the last 14 years. I have taught around 150-200 students, ranging from teenagers to adults, helping them develop both skill and confidence. My approach is simple: combine patience, motivation, and real-world examples to make learning enjoyable and effective.
A highlight of my teaching journey was guiding students to perform in local concerts and competitions, witnessing the pride and joy on their faces. I focus on creating lessons that are personalised, interactive, and inspiring, ensuring that each student feels supported and encouraged. My mission is to help students discover the joy of playing the flute, nurture their creativity, and build the skills they need to succeed in music and beyond.

I follow a structured yet creative methodology for teaching flute. I use real-life examples and case studies to explain concepts, helping students understand how music applies in practical situations. Motivation is a key focus; I aim to inspire students to stay committed, confident, and passionate about their learning.
Through problem-solving, I encourage students to tackle difficulties in their playing independently, improving both skill and confidence. Integrity is important in my approach, promoting honesty, respect, and discipline in every lesson. My teaching is flexible, allowing me to adjust lessons according to each student’s abilities, pace, and objectives.
In addition to flute, I teach related music theory and fundamentals to help students gain a complete understanding. This methodology ensures that learning is enjoyable, effective, and personalised, helping students grow as confident, creative, and skilled musicians.
