About Ilana
I am now a student in my last year of VWO. I also did HBO, but I found out that I would like to go to university. I have given lots of tutoring to friends who had trouble with beta subjects, especially mathematics. I think that because I am working on high school again, I am well able to transfer the material and understand how students can learn more easily.

If I were to teach, I would try to make pupils learn the material in a more creative way. For example, by looking for a real life example that has something to do with the subject, but also something that interests the student. By testing with more than just words, but also with colors and images and occasionally by doing something myself, I think that many students find it easier to learn. Simply explained how I would teach: first I start by having the student try it myself, see where things go wrong, explain them and then go right again.
